Twisted prayer is a pose easily mis-practiced. Forcing yourself into a twist brings temporary satisfaction, but can bring discomfort if forced repeatedly. The art of moving into a twist with a relaxed disposition and comfortable breath is the aim of the yogi. Don't hold your breath, waiting for praise to come. Move into your twist until you are on the verge of discomfort, then push one degree more.
